Hello. I just purchased an xbox 360 and a gta 4 disc. Initially i found the gameplay to be a bit laggy. even the cutscenes seemed to be laggy. And i found the gameplay to be slow as compared to previous gtas Now i have some theories here pls consider them:- 1) The disc may be scratched or have bad sectors (no scratches seen though). Do you think installing it on a hard drive will improve the fps(I mean to the regular one as others) because i think copied files will deliver better than being read every time from disc. I had this san andreas for ps2 which always malfunctioned but one day i created its iso and then reburned it to new disc and it worked. So u think copying from bad sectors will be easier than reading it. I mean if the disc is supposedly bad will installing it bring to the same level at other discs 2)The gameplay is like that dude, bear with it. But videos i have seen on youtube show much better results, NOW C'MON EVEN CUTSCENES ARE LAGGING. But things do improve when i play it for a long time. ANYWAYS PLS HELP. In middle school, played ps2 all the time, basically lived for it. In high school, played a little less, but still quite often. The last time I played my game, I saved it but left it on pause. In between then and now my boyfriend unhooked the PS3 to hook up the PS2 to play his game (I don't know if he turned off the machine or not). So just now I set up to play my (GTA) game and it says there are no games to load on the hard drive!! How did this happen? hey guys, just got gta san andreas and its really awesome. except as ive been so used to playing it on the ps2 its a big change going to the pc. so i have a few questions about the controls. (my controls are still at default except i swapped sprint and jump so space was jump and left shift sprint. 1. Riding a bike was really uncomfortable for me. i.e. pedalling really fast as tapping w repeatedly while watching the road and having to stear aswell. does anyone else find this annoying? how can i go about fixing this? like whats the best control i can change to so its easier to go faster? 2. when i was driving a car and i had an uzi in the ps2 mode i could shoot out of the side. now all i can do is look out the side and not shoot? I dont know if im using the right controls but basically im looking out the side with q or e and shooting with click. am i using the right keys or can i simply not shoot out of the side? 3. using the guns was way different for me because i dont know how to lock on. is there a way to lock on or is it manual aiming? there is sorta look on with hand to hand cuz of the little marker above their head changing colour towards their death. but is there a full on lock on or is it all manual? 4. this isnt really much of a problem for me but it would be nice to have. you see whilst i am driving a motorbike, i cant do a wheelie like you can in the ps2 version. w,a,s,d are just forward left right and brake. is there a way to do a wheelie and stuff like that in other vehicles? overall i still think gta sa pc is a really good game and its hard stop playing. still could you guys plz try and answer those questions for me? thanks. also if you guys have made your own custom controls for both foot and vehicle could you please post them up here so i can see what you guys are all doing for controls? and for one last question i would like to ask if SA-MP is fun at all? cuz it looks pretty fun but i dont wanna download it if its a waste of time. is it reliable (wont just make viruses, crash my comp etc.) and is it a big file? thanks guys moreResolved Question: huge dilemma with the PS3/Xbox 360?
i am currently torn most of my friends have 360s, but i have a friend who has both, and he recommends the PS3 the price isnt an issue, i'm paying 3/4ths regardless, because my birthday is coming up. i might want to play with my camp friends who have 360 online, though the blu ray isnt much of a factor neither are graphics-they're great either way but which has better gameplay? i am enticed by the web browser on the PS3, plus, you don't have to buy the extension cord (built in wi-fi) i am mainly a sports gamer, but would be open to trying games like gears of war 2, uncharted, inFAMOUS, GTA 4, oblivion, bio shock etc. i like that the PS3 is more durable, but i also like that the 360 has a much better warranty i know the 360 has better online, but you have to pay, and i'm not 100% sure as to how often i'd use it i have a ps2 and gamecube now what should i get: the PS3 or the 360? i don't think i would download that much, but i also have a question: i know you can do netflix on the 360, but since the PS3 has a web browser, can you go on netflix.com and watch the movies from there? cause i saw that you can do hulu with the PS3's web browser, so can you also go on netflix.com and watch movies from there? also, my favorite game is mlb the show, and i also like the basketball 2k9s i also want to play my ps2 games, and i've heard that the PS3 is backwards compatible with most ps2 games*something to take into consideration* my TV is in one room, and my modem is in another...i would have to get a long cable i'm gonna go over to my friends' houses and play each and see which i like better but for now, could you give me reasons why one is better than the other? thanks moreResolved Question: ok, i have a dilemma with the PS3/Xbox 360?

I have a 3-4 year old PS2 that runs as if it is brand new. I also have these games: Scarface The World Is Yours Collector edition, GTA II, Dora Journey to the Purple Planet, The Sims Bustin Out, GTA San Andreas and 50 Cent Bulletproof. I also have a 8 MB memory card and 1 controller. How much money would I receive if I went to a game store and sold it to them or would it make more sense just to give it away? Ok, I've never played GTA IV but I remember myself having a great time playing Vice City for the PS2! so that's a plus, that I know no matter what that I'll have fun with GTA IV, just driving around the city and that stuff!.
